Welcome

The Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors was established by an Act of the Kentucky General Assembly in 1938 to protect the public health, safety and welfare. This is accomplished through the licensing and monitoring of individuals and firms deemed qualified to practice.

The Board is self-supporting and receives no general fund tax dollars.

THE BOARD OFFICE IS CLOSED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, IN OBSERVANCE OF A STATEWIDE FURLOUGH DAY - A BUDGET BALANCING MEASURE.  THE BOARD OFFICE WILL ALSO BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, IN OBSERVANCE OF LABOR DAY.
